Marco Muia - BSc MSc MCIWM - Managing Director

Marco worked as a waste regulation officer prior to joining The Environment Agency as a Team Leader in April 1996. He left the Agency and formed Oaktree Environmental in July 1997. Marco is a CIWM/WAMITAB accredited assessor and provides expert witness assistance in permitting appeals and in court cases. He also holds the level 4 COTCs for Hazardous Waste Treatment and Transfer.

Richard Sims - BSc MSc -Director 

Richard joined us in January 2005 and has been a Director since 2012. He manages our drone survey and CAD team, which produces high quality plans using GPS and drone data for applications as well as preparing planning and permit applications for all operations.

Joanne Perry - Credit Controller

Jo joined us in August 2003, and after the directors, is the longest-serving member of Oaktree. She manages Oaktree's accounts department and provides technical administrative support services to the rest of the team.

Tiffany Holden - Technical Administrator

Tiff joined us in March 2016 and provides technical support to staff and clients, specialising in carrier registration, exemptions, scrap metal dealer applications and more.

Dr. David Young - BEng MSc - Principal Consultant

David  joined us in April 2009. He is our resident air quality specialist and advises clients on air emissions modelling, legislation and Environmental Impact Assessment. He also specialises in permitting for installations and agricultural operations.

Chris Parry - Principal Consultant

Chris joined us in April 2011 after working as a surveyor for Cheshire County Council. He specialises in planning and permitting and is our lead on fire prevention plans for end of life vehicle and waste sites. He recently obtained the CIWM/WAMITAB MROC2 qualification.

Isaac Allen -BSc - Senior Consultant

Isaac joined us in July 2019 specialising in preparation of planning and permit applications.

Jordan Hewitt  - Surveyor

Jordan joined us in September 2022 as a surveyor and is now a qualified drone pilot, flying our 4 drones.

Joshua Ulyatt BSc - Consultant

Josh joined us in 2023 and specialises in contaminated land  and noise assessment.

Ben Medlock BA MSc - Principal Planning Consultant

Ben joined us in October 2023, he specialises in infrastructure planning. He has a background in large infrastructure working with both large corporate and goverment clients.
