WAMITAB - The waste management and industry training board
WAMITAB was established in 1989 with a remit to determine and advise on policy and standards of education, qualifications and training for all employees in the Waste Management Industry. WAMITAB is an awarding body for the waste management industry in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and joint awarding body, with SQA, for qualifications in Scotland.
At Oaktree we are able to train you or your workforce in preparation for waste management activities, or to help you build upon your existing waste qualifications. We offer a specialised training programme tailored to your businesses needs and where possible will train you at your site or business. We have been working with WAMITAB centres since 1997 and have helped hundreds of waste managers obtain the necessary COTC.
We are also able to offer fast track assessments if your qualification is needed quickly and can also provide cover until your certificate is issued.
Contact us for more information on waste management training. If you already have a level 4 waste COTC don't forget to sit your continuing competence test before the deadline - 29 February 2012. Call us for assistance with refresher training to help you through the test.
